Mr. Feidakis is our founder and principal shareholder. He has been involved in shipping since 2000. Mr. Feidakis turned his investment in shipping stocks into shipping assets and before the incorporation of Globus was the majority shareholder of Eolos Shipmanagement SA.
Mr. Feidakis is also the major shareholder and Chairman of FG Europe, a Company listed in the Athens Stock Exchange since 2000. FG Europe is active in four lines of business and represents world class brands in Greece, the Balkans and Italy. FG Europe is a market leader in the air-conditioning and white/brown electric goods market in Greece and is active in power generation and mobile telephony.
Mr. Karageorgiou has served as our Chief Executive Officer since September 2006.
He has 19 years of shipping experience (5 years experience in a public company). He worked as a Projects Engineer for Kassos Maritime Enterprises (1990-1992) and as a Director and Corporate Secretary for Stelmar Shipping Limited (1992-2004), a shipping Company listed on the New York Stock Exchange between 2001 and 2004 . During his time at Stelmar Shipping Limited, Mr. Karageorgiou assisted with both vessel acquisitions and financings and was involved with the Company’s initial public offering (“IPO”) and subsequent sale to OSG in December 2004.
He was also a Director of easyGroup Ltd, easyJet Holdings Ltd, easyInternetCafe Ltd, easyCruise Ltd, Stelinvest Corp. and a number of other easyGroup subsidiaries in the years 1995-2005.
Mr. Karageorgiou holds a BE in Mechanical Engineering and an ME in Ocean Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and an MSC in Shipping Trade and Finance from City University Business School (CASS).

Elias S.Deftereos, Chief Financial Officer |
Mr. Deftereos has served as our Chief Financial Officer and a member of our Board of Directors since April 2007.
He has been involved in banking and the capital markets for more than 19 years, for 10 of which he was active in the shipping industry. He has previously worked as an Analyst for Olympic Maritime of the Onassis Group (1988-1991), as an Account Officer for ship financing for ABN AMRO Bank (1994-1996), and more recently as the Finance Director of Konkar Shipping Agencies (2004-2005) and Astron Maritime (2005-2006), two companies managing fleets of bulk-carriers. Mr. Deftereos has also worked as an Investment Manager for Lehman Brothers (1997-1998) and as the Group Treasurer of Mytilineos Holdings (1999-2001), a company listed on the Athens Stock Exchange.
Mr. Deftereos holds a BA in Economics from the State University of New York and an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago.

Jeffrey Owen Parry, Non-Executive Director |
Mr. Parry has 26 years experience in the shipping sector. He is currently President of Mystic Marine Advisors LLC, a Connecticut-based advisory firm specializing in turnaround and emerging shipping companies. Formerly, he was CEO of NASDAQ-listed Aries Maritime Transport Limited (now NewLead Holdings Ltd.), where he led the turnaround and sale of the company. Mr. Parry has also served as the Managing Director of A.G. Pappadakis & Co. Ltd, an Athens-based shipowner, and Managing Director of Poten Capital Services LLC, a U.S. broker/dealer firm specializing in shipping, member of FINRA/SIPC. Mr. Parry holds a BA from Brown University and an MBA from Columbia University. He started his career as a stevedore on the New York waterfront.
